Hornbill Festival is a lively celebration commending the social assorted qualities of the Naga tribes.Praised consistently amid first week of December, it gives a chance to the outside world to witness the merry moves, ceremonies and customary games of every tribe, generally performed at distinctive times of the year.
The 10-day-long festivities saw about 1,90,000 visitors, including foreign,
domestic and local tourists thronging the mountainous terrain witnessing the performances and also from the Northeastern region
Thousands of visitors also joined the unity dance to the tune of the Naga yodeling and drum beats around the bon fire.
